Frequently asked questions
What ages and subjects do you cover?
We support children from Reception through to A-Level across core subjects including Maths, English and Science, plus many others. When you enquire, just tell us the year group and subject and we'll match a suitable tutor.
What's the difference between one-to-one and small-group tutoring?
One-to-one tutoring is fully personalised — your child has the tutor's undivided attention and a lesson plan built around them. Small-group sessions have up to eight students of similar age and ability, which is more sociable and better value per session.
What is 'extra learning support'?
It's flexible help between lessons — homework clubs, exam and SATs revision, study-skills sessions and on-demand resources. It's ideal for a quick boost or ongoing reinforcement without booking a full tutoring slot.
Can I pay as I go, or do I need a subscription?
Both. You can book individual sessions pay-as-you-go with no commitment, or choose a monthly plan for regular sessions at a lower price. You can switch between them whenever you like.
Can I cancel or reschedule a session?
Yes. Plans can be paused or cancelled at any time, and individual sessions can be rescheduled — we just ask for reasonable notice so your tutor can plan ahead.
Are your tutors qualified and safe?
All tutors are qualified and background-checked, and every session takes place in a safe, supervised online classroom. Parents are welcome to sit in, especially for younger children.
